Consultant / Coach in Operational Excellence & Business Agility
I have worked for over 20 years in digital & technology. My most recent role was managing the operation of 300-350 people delivering digital technology projects to a Tier 1 Investment Bank client. I pioneered the use of Agile in a scaled enterprise environment, and established solutions to overcome the constraints of such environments. Prior to this, I worked with Telecoms / Gambling / Retail sectors delivering entire e-commerce/e-service environments and initiating vast programmes of digital change. I developed methods of mixing Lean and Agile with a view of answering the enterprise drivers of more predictable delivery, reduction of costs, acceleration of delivery cycles to drive change and innovation. Beyond just IT I worked in rolling out such models into Business operations, mapping a digital journey from Lean operational excellence to Business agility (using the Stabilise / Optimise / Automate / Innovate stages). I have decided to create a new consultancy called Henko (meaning Change in Japanese) with a view to help enterprises upgrade their management in line with the technology progress. Henko is helping with situation assessment, Change planning and facilitation, regaining change capacity, agile strategy, cultural change for executives and teams. Henko is focused on Lean-Agile practices with a clear purpose of improving Delivery performance, rescuing failed programmes/delivery, achieving transformation in line with Enterprise drivers (Costs / Growth / Sustainability), updating technology architectures (reduction of tech debt/Cloud/Data/AI). Henko is uniquely working with organisations so they learn and drive the change for themselves - we upgrade the management of technology.
